This is our 2nd photo mission, we ventured to Crystal Cove to see what we could find. A lot of the water looked black that day, like a viscous pool of black liquid gold. I thought of a fitting line today as it pertains to our current oil spill:
"The beauty of the earth riddled with the ugliness that inhabits it"
All my shots are unedited with no post-processing besides cropping. I really had fun with reflections, silhouettes, textures, and the relevancy of humans to nature (and the destruction thereof). Enjoy.

dude these photos are siiiick!
i'm diggin the foto with louis centered by the layers of jagged rock, with the the cliff on the top right side adding a nice juxtaposition against the oceanside.
the sea-slugs are winners.
and i like the one where louis is blurred in the background, while the crevice between the rocks is focused.
well done!
