The Red without the Blue

R. vs B.

Music isn't what it used to be.  However we do not dwell much in the glories of the past.  Music back then had Soul.  Something the music nowadays lacks.  You never hear about big classic hits of the 90's, but you hear plenty about the 68's the 69's the 72's and all around that general area.  Doors, Led Zeppelin, Santana, Hendrix, Beattles, Deep Purple, Dylan, the list goes on forever.  Passion has been bypassed by Success.  Damn, what does success really even mean?

Why don't we have passionate soulful musicians that just do it for the love of the art form?  Music has turned into that money maker, the Obsession.  Kids just dig their way onto stage and make their cash while producing nothing greater than shitty tunes everyone gets sick of after 2 weeks of radio play.

I guess you cant have the sweet without the sour, the left without the right,  the up without the down, the light without the dark, the life without the death, the Good without the Evil.

(i.e. the red without the blue)

Attention musicians of the world, do not let your sound be muffled by the smoke stacks and the quiet wizzing buzz of technology, let your trumpet out blaring whatever tune you make.  We are all musicians in a way, painting our lyrical rhymes critiquing the world around us,  tooting our signature note.  We must be heard, or at least dabble in the idea of some sort of collective movement.

Not your normal romanticized revolutionary tendencies mind you.

We are trying to take it to the next level.  Isn't that what life is about?  Constantly improving, becoming more efficient with that bug we call time.  Don't worry about the upcoming change, as the evolution of any entity, especially regarding expression of the mind, is magnificent to observe.  Let change happen, be it for better or worst, any change can be twisted into growth and eventually knowledge.  How you say?  I'll tell you how, "maximizing the outlets we take for granted and support will eventually bring tidal waves of success."  Success you say?  What a trivial remark.  Life fulfillment is actually what I am after.  How about you?
