The thread that holds us all together

Sleeping under stars,
the sky it glooms too bleak,
to stir this gentle peace of mind with two feet.
Life, how beautiful and sweet, so sour to dangle during sleep.
Our capacity to create, to analyze, to surprise facets and inspire aspects;
to define, to create metaphors, rhyming in prose I'm suppose to get a feeling,
a rush defined by glistening ideas, the brain is tense,
dollars makes the equal parting of cents, a tense, a sentence,
reminded of the mind relapse, into any period it wishes,
swishes and swoops until we gain knowledge standing astoop,
aloof and unaware of the world around us,
we deliver doves of songs singing with children turned harsh men ringing,
the time clock, punch in the card for that square lunch,
in pill form, abstract we bend time to fit the norm,
we laugh and forget the joys of life and death,
we shiver with fear and grip for the change that is near,
the cycle will never stop, a life consisting of death and taxes,
the never ending spiral of stairs,
muscle relaxants and muscle depressants,
the rise and fall, good and evil, the innocent and the corrupted,
cancer sticks and smoke stacks conducing nature drilling,
a filling and a swelling, nature is now bellowing,
angry at the footprints we have littered across the globe,
apathetic to our own home and a lack of respect to mother nature,
our ability to create a beautiful pattern woven with originality,
singled out and cast away,
prices increasing and morals diminishing.
We wander like slaves of our past, fixated on the future of fame and money, glisten with greed, cough with disease, tainted with the funds presented to us, enjoying the vices of life.
Though through all of life's hardships, I have been steering with only one guarantee.

A blessing of good friends, good company, good family, able to handle the world with me.
We are like magnets, we attract those that have like-values and we repel those we wish not to become.

We strive and work through our separate hardships, occupying totally different spaces, but plowing through the same sunshine-fields of life,
we hurt and we bleed and we sweat and we fall,
and we grow and we learn and we expand and we gain knowledge and we become patient and anger-controlled and mature adults;
we all take our separate paths but in the end we'll be in the same place,
in the end we will surely meet again.

"Because we separate like
ripples on a blank shore
...
Because we separate like
ripples on a blank shore
...

Dedicated to all you
all human beings"

-Radiohead

This is an ode to my friends.  Those who have been there to deflect any notion of stagnancy.
Human beings are strong individuals, casting a push and pull and learning to find equilibriums.

A man once said, "handle yours, I'll handle mine, and I'll be back before it's too long."

We move in powerful ways, we infect in ways we never intended.  We listen, we observe, we develop, we assimilate, we learn, we become street smart, we infect everyone who's down to have a positive attitude.  We infect as deadly as the aids virus.  Keep up the good work everyone.

fear is the film that covers the eye, wipe it clean to see more clearly.

just inspired me to write even more frequently and not just limit it to a certain type of flow or post, and it def is being in diff parts of the world yet being the magnets we are that keep us tightly knit and attracted to each other!

For each tear I just dropped, you owe me a dollar. I'll be expecting a check for a eight dollars shortly.
