Because Time really is Ephemeral...
But we don't know that until later. Until the 'decay' of time has really shown its strength; unabashed at laying down the law. How fragile a moment's worth is, its passing is due with great lament. How transient our lives really are, an untangible idea meant for later down life's road. That's what I learned today, and has made me realize that we musn't wait another moment.
That the dreams you were chasing are really just in front of you, dwindling in the breeze right before your very own eyes. Masked by layers of illusions. They are waiting, only X hours away. Once you spend those X hours laboring away, those dreams will turn into a juice-bearing fruit overflowing with sweetness. Once you start collecting them, there's no turning back; you have the ability to do whatever you want in the world.
Your voice becomes a ginormous platform in which you can speak your mind freely. Now doesn't that sound great?
Technology is a prime example for how temporary things really are. For with the death of one entity will come the life of another. It's ironic my dad is making converter boxes for when analog TV will die. Without a TV converter box, you will either be forced to get cable or you will receive grey fuzzy screen of death.
DTV:
"You will need to take action before your local TV stations stop analog broadcasts if you currently watch TV on an analog TV set that is not connected to cable, satellite or other pay TV service. If you own a television with a digital tuner or subscribe to a pay TV service, you will likely continue to receive TV programming as usual after the transition.
If you’re still unsure, answer these questions and we’ll let you know if you need a converter box.
Question 1: Do you have a TV set in your household receiving broadcasts using an antenna, such as "rabbit ears" or a rooftop antenna?"
Come June 12, 2009, lots of poor people won't be able to afford television.
