This is from one roll of tmax 400 pulled to 200, olympus xa. Camping, hiking, off-roading and melting in the Anza Borrego deserts, with dirt covering our teeth. I felt the film depicted exactly how the heat felt over the weekend: relentless. Another favorite California destination of mine, next to Big Sur and Joshua Tree.
If I'm in the city, I photograph buildings; if I'm in nature, I photograph mountains (and rocks). I think it's something about scale, materials, environment, and landscapes that intrigue me.
