Ben has a heart of gold. At the same time, when your back is turned he can easily make a young girl cry. We've weeped over Sandy Trang's (a grotesque adaptation of the popular restaurant San Tung) dried fried chicken. We've biked through the Golden Gate park to watch the sunset at the beach. We've had meaningful conversations in the morning over coffee and pastries. We've had laughs, fights, ups, downs, thai tea, art talks, design critiques, tears, coffee, thrifting crewnecks, making bland pizzas, singing, running at night, and the list goes on.
I tried to capture the many faces of Ben. His emotions as elusive as the tantalizing spices of Sandy Trang's wings. All in all, I look up to him as a designer, and he is a great friend of mine. Here are 49 views during my SF11 trip.
