San Francisco 1: Grain Days

Successfully left my dslr at home. It was harder than you'd think. I captured my entire trip on film. A lot of people ask what the difference is between film and digital...

"Film is original and believable, whereas digital is about fabrication and illusion. Film involves a ritual and an economy that focuses the eye and mind." - Bob Carlos Clarke

I totally agree with him. The digital age is starting to make us question our very reality.

Digital > Analog

This is what I've been working on. Shot with my D40 + 35mm prime lens (digital). Getting more into film these days though. Purchased an Olympus XA rangefinder. Sent in one roll of Fujifilm Pro 400H and one roll of Ilford FP4 125 BW...we'll see how it all pans out.

Out with the old, as they say.
