Rightly so. The city is a breathing example of its raw kinetic energy. With a blink of an eye, you could be last to start the race. I have only had a glimpse of NYC and its neighborhoods but so far the view has been electric. Restaurants battle to survive and cash flow is on everyone's mind. Over breakfast a friend and I conversed about the "transient nature of the city, gentrification, a feeling of never finding what you are searching for." Another friend told me the city was "condensed" but with this density "opportunity is everywhere." I felt like those few lines really summed up my last week here.
